U.S. Citizen
New Mexico Resident
New Mexico high school graduate or have received a General Equivalency diploma through a New Mexico Department of Education approved program
Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA for a maximum of two (2) semester; however, the scholarship may be awarded to a recipient who does not meet this requirement under special hardship circumstances.
Be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours if maintaining a full-time job, a minimum of 9 credit hours with a part-time job, or a minimum of 12 credit hours if not employed.
Demonstrate both financial need and academic achievement
